Starlink High-Speed Internet Now Available in the UAE

Starlink, the high-speed internet service owned by Elon Musk, is now accessible in the UAE, with roaming service prices starting at Dh190 per month.

According to the company's website, Starlink's roaming services offer 100GB of data for Dh190 monthly, while unlimited roaming data is available for Dh370 per month.

The company also provides high-speed home internet service for Dh230 per month, with an initial hardware cost of Dh1,099.

Starlink has two residential packages for customers in the UAE: the Residential Lite package, which offers unlimited use at Dh230 per month, and the Residential package, providing maximum available speed with unlimited data for Dh300.

As of March 2026, Starlink's satellite internet service is operational in over 150 countries and territories worldwide, including regions in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.

In the Middle East, Starlink is available in several countries, including the UAE, Oman, Yemen, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

Developed by SpaceX, Starlink is a satellite-based internet service that delivers high-speed connectivity, particularly in areas where traditional broadband is limited or unavailable. Instead of depending on underground cables or cell towers, it utilizes a vast constellation of thousands of small satellites orbiting close to Earth.

These low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites significantly reduce latency compared to older satellite systems, allowing users to enjoy activities such as video calls, streaming, and online gaming with relatively quick response times. The company claims a 99.9% uptime and a weather-resilient service for its residential internet customers.
